Best Night Ever

BEST NIGHT EVER is a neo-noir play that entangles five lonely souls in a web of sex, deception and Russian Roulette. Brought together through a chance one-night stand, their lives are changed forever. Peg, a conceptual artist on a collision course with life, meets failed college baseball star Jake when they're introduced by Peg's bartender friend Tina, who has issues of her own. After a night of bullets, booze, and blackouts, Peg ends up in a tub of water with a slug in her gut. Jake's gay roommate Teddy, tired of footing the bill for Jake's aimless womanizing, may or may not be willing and able to provide Jake with the alibi he so desperately needs; and time's running out as the sides of this Rubik's Cube are being pieced together by a well-worn detective grappling with his own ghosts. Careful: your best night ever may be your last.
